Blogging is one of the thousands ways to make money online.
There are many blogging platforms that you can use to create a blog for yourself.  I would recommend creating your own blog, via WordPress(.org) by registering your domain and hosting.
However, as a newbie you would want to start blogging without investing much money initially to create a blog.
There are many blogging platforms which users can start free blogs on. If you are looking for a simple an free blog, then I suggest you start with WordPress.com or BlogSpot.com.
Once you have enough experience in blogging, you can migrate to WordPress.org self hosted blog.
This tutorial is mainly for “newbie” who are new to blogging and would like to get started by learning the basics involved in it.
Before I move to the complete tutorial, there is one thing you need to take note of:
  • BlogSpot is a platform powered by Google.  It gives you an opportunity to start a blog, but all your images will be hosted by Picasa (which also part of Google).



Step By Step Guide On Creating A Free Blog On BlogSpot

To create your free BlogSpot blog, visit BlogSpot.com and login with your Google account which is also your Gmail account. If you don’t have a Google account, you can create one for free. Gmail.com.

Once you are logged in, click on “new blog” or click on this link to directly go there: Create blog.

Name Your Blog

Here you have to select your domain. I suggest you Avoid using your name as the domain name, instead use some generic name.
Select a template (it can be changed), and click on “Create Blog”.




Congratulations your blog is live, but you are not done yet!

There are few enhancements you need to make.

From your dashboard you can go to “Settings” and make changes to improve your blog’s visibility.
Click on “New post” to write your first blog post!
Create “About” page of who you are and what your blog is all about.

You can change your blog template if the default one is boring.
